School days

Kindergarten?? Really?? I'm still coming to terms with the fact that he is five and in school full-time. His first day was hard for me. No tears (from anyone except Lauren who desperately wanted to start school a day early) but leaving him was very bittersweet for me.

I packed a lunch for the girls so they would feel too left out!

...and the next day, the first for all three.

As cute as can be:)

Resurfacing

Just because I had to document this:

Josh: "Mommy, when I go to college I think you will come with me. Because I don't know how to tuck myself in."

A trip to Heritage Plantation

Last Sunday was a beautiful fall day so we took the kids to Heritage Plantation in Sandwich. Here are some highlights!

Marley's Work

Marley is very methodical and purposeful. She's been spending a lot of time building castles out of blocks (something she and Abby were doing together a lot.) Her castles have slowly evolved into something that resembles a track or a wall. A couple of weeks ago she was quietly playing in her room for a long time. At one point I heard nothing so I went up to check on her (lest there be more "poopy-painting" going on) and this is what I found:

I love how she started using whatever she could find once she ran out of blocks!

Too young for sarcasm?

Josh: "Mom, what are you doing?"

Me: "I'm folding laundry, sweetheart."

Josh: "That's a surprise..."

A request

Dear Marley,

Please don't ever stop calling your sister "Woden".

Love,
Mommy
